Reliable Staffing San Antonio is seeking a Repair Development Engineer. Who is responsible for the development and implementation of new repairs and new components at the company Services, Inc. (CCS), including the creation and documentation of all required processes and procedures used to disassemble, assemble, inspect, repair, test and manufacture the affected components. Support CCSs Business Development Group with technical communication required between CCS and its customers. Develop technical relationships with CCSs customers so as to a) identify additional business opportunities for CCS and b) support the resolution of any technical conflicts that may arise during contract / purchase order execution; plan and coordinate customer visits from a technical support standpoint as required to do so. Review technical information as required in support of new repair development and implementation projects. Review customer purchase orders, contracts and change requests and ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are communicated to and included in CCSs new repair development and implementation plans. Develop Repair Justifications and Quote forms (Form ENG023) in support of new repair development and implementation projects.
Develop capital requests for tooling and equipment required in support of new repair development and implementation projects. Develop internal and external reports identifying the status of repair development and implementation projects on a timely basis. Interact with process planners, production planners, operations support and customer service / marketing personnel to ensure the planned work reflects the technical requirements requested by CCSs customers. Develop job planning documents defining in detail the operations to be performed through engineering instructions, drawings and process instructions for all repairs developed by CCS. Define and conduct all tests required to substantiate new repairs developed by CCS. Oversee the design of any tooling and fixtures in support of new repairs developed by CCS. Support CCSs initiatives in the identification and resolution of problems, loss reporting and continuous improvement activities. Exercise individual initiative, discretion and judgment to confer with the appropriate parties regarding any noticed or perceived internal issues.
