We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Mortgage Loan Officer to join our growing lending team in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for originating residential real estate mortgages by evaluating, authorizing, and recommending approval of loan applications. You will proactively build a strong pipeline by cultivating relationships with local real estate agents, builders, and direct consumers in a high-demand, fast-paced market.

- Proactively originate high-quality residential mortgage loans (Conforming, Jumbo, FHA, VA, and Non-QM products).
- Develop and maintain a referral network of real estate agents, attorneys, financial planners, and builders in the greater Los Angeles area.
- Guide borrowers through the entire loan lifecycle, matching them with optimal financial products based on their goals.
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments by reviewing credit reports, tax returns, asset statements, and employment history.
- Ensure all loan files are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with state and federal regulations (DFPI, CFPB, and NMLS guidelines).
- Collaborate with internal processors, underwriters, and closers to ensure seamless, on-time loan closures.
Licensing: Active NMLS license in good standing; valid California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) or California Department of Real Estate (DRE) endorsemen
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of verifiable mortgage loan origination experience. A proven track record of a self-sourced book of business is highly preferred.
- Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Los Angeles real estate landscape, housing trends, and high-balance/jumbo loan limits.
