Qualifications
  • 4–7 years of employment law experience
  • Experience in employment litigation, including depositions and court appearances
  • Background at an AmLaw 100 firm preferred
  • Experience with:
    • Wage and hour matters
    • Single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits
    • Client counseling on employment law compliance
  • Preferred experience drafting:
    • Summary judgment and other dispositive motions
    • Motions to compel arbitration
    • Discovery documents
    • Class certification opposition materials
    • Settlement agreements and employment-related agreements (offer letters, separation agreements, arbitration agreements, PIIAs)
  • Federal clerkship experience is a plus
  • Experience with labor due diligence in M&A transactions is highly preferred
Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Strong academic credentials required
  • Active bar admission in California (or ability to obtain promptly)
