We are looking for a Insurance Authorization / Verification Specialist in South Austin.
This person will be responsible for obtaining insurance benefits, verification of eligibility status and assist with authorizations over the phone and online.
The right candidate must be detail oriented, able to handle a fast paced environment, have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and provide expert level support to all staff, patients and referring physician offices with a friendly, professional demeanor and appearance.

Qualifications:
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.
· Must have a working knowledge in computer navigation and have the ability to multitask effectively.
· Must have a working knowledge of health insurance and conceptually understand how health care benefits apply.
Preferred:
· 1+ Year Radiology Experience or medical insurance verification and pre-certification.
· Familiarity with online insurance verification of deductibles and co-insurance calculations
· Experience with Aetna, Cigna, UHC, AIM and Medsolutions will be considered first.
Must be reliable and have Reliable transportation
Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
