Our company employs advanced technologies at facilities around the world to develop specialty food and beverage systems, cosmetic and pharmaceutical systems, inkjet and specialty inks and colors and other specialty chemicals. Our customers include major international manufacturers representing most of the worlds best-known brands. Responsibilities: We have a great opportunity in our Group for an experienced HR Manager. The professional we seek will assist the Director, HR to implement and manage human resource services, policies and programs to ensure they are aligned with the goals and objectives of the group. Will be responsible for the employment activities at the Group level and several other domestic manufacturing facilities through the middle management levels. Will also play a significant role in assisting with day-to-day union responsibilities. Utilize acquired experience to review assigned business units with regard to human capital, to advise Director of HR on current and potential business and organizational issues that should be addressed to ensure achievement of strategies. Ensure compliance with and maintain thorough working knowledge in areas such as global business practices, EEO, FMLA, and domestic & international labor laws and regulations. Involved in the management oversight of the Payroll Department. Collaborate with management on staffing issues: recruiting (internally and externally), merit/promotions, and employee relations. Offer advisement on and prepare new hire, merit, promotional, and termination paperwork. Manage all aspects of recruiting in cooperation with other human resource staff: write, edit, and authorize the placement of advertisements, maintain and develop recruiting relationships, negotiate appropriate fees, make offers, participate in on-boarding activities. Play an active role to assist in efforts to update and maintain HCMS initiatives in support of business strategy. Consult with and advise Group leadership to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures and legal regulations. Alert Group management to non-conformance of individuals with job requirements and policies and ensure appropriate action is taken. Provide recommendations in such areas as talent acquisition and management, performance and career management, work force planning and change management. Various International HR activities as assigned.

Job Requirements. Education and Experience. The ideal candidate shall have a proven track record of results achievement, demonstrated leadership skills, and superior technical and interpersonal skills. A Bachelors degree in a business related field is required. PHR or SPHR certification is a preferred. Must have 10 years experience in a related industry with increasing management responsibilities. Minimum of 7 years generalist experience and 5 years of union experience.
