This role involves working on a wide range of sophisticated finance transactions, including secured lending and general corporate finance matters. The practice focuses on drafting and negotiating key financing documents and supporting complex lending transactions across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical experience and the ability to contribute to high-value, fast-moving deals.

- Strong drafting and negotiation skills in finance transactions
- Deep understanding of secured lending structures and documentation
- Familiarity with UCC provisions and filings
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 2–5 years of experience (Class of 2020–2018) in finance or corporate law
- Experience with general debt finance transactions required
- Prior experience drafting and negotiating loan and security documentation
- Familiarity with UCC and secured transactions strongly preferred
- Prior law firm experience at a reputable firm preferred
- Strong academic performance required
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials required
- Active bar membership in good standing (Illinois preferred or ability to waive in)
