This role focuses on debt finance transactions and related corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting financing deals, including drafting and negotiating key loan and security documents. The practice handles a wide range of sophisticated lending transactions and provides exposure to complex, high-value matters in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Solid understanding of debt finance and secured lending principles
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 1–3 years of experience (Class of 2023–2022) in finance or corporate law
- Experience with debt finance transactions required
- Familiarity with UCC and secured lending documentation
- Prior law firm experience preferred
- Strong academic performance from a top-tier law school preferred
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials required
- Active bar membership in good standing (Illinois preferred or ability to waive in)
