A global law firm is seeking an attorney with employment law experience and an interest in transactional work to join its Corporate and Private Equity practice as part of a Professional Track Attorney program in Atlanta. This role is well-suited for an attorney with company-side labor and employment experience who is interested in expanding into transactional matters.
This is a non-partnership track position offering immediate integration into a collaborative practice group, comprehensive training and development opportunities, and exposure to sophisticated client work across industries. The role also includes opportunities to participate in pro bono initiatives and broaden experience within the practice based on performance.
Role Responsibilities
- Serve as a junior attorney responsible for employment-related diligence in M&A transactions
- Support corporate transactions by conducting research and drafting employment-related agreements
- Advise on day-to-day company-side labor and employment matters
- Analyze complex legal issues and apply legal principles to specific business scenarios
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents and client deliverables
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, and firm professionals
- Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in client meetings, conference calls, and team initiatives
- Travel as required for client or firm needs
- Build professional relationships and anticipate client needs
- Comply with all firm policies and professional standards
