A well-established financial institution is seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Officer to grow and manage profitable commercial relationships within the local market. This role focuses on delivering value-added financial solutions that support client goals while driving long-term portfolio growth.
The Commercial Banking Officer is responsible for developing, retaining, and expanding commercial client relationships through customized banking solutions. This is a relationship-driven role requiring independent production, strong credit judgment, and effective transaction execution. Credit process management and disciplined risk oversight are critical components of success in this position.
Performance is measured by new business generation, calling activity, proposal development, revenue growth, portfolio quality, cross-selling effectiveness, and the ability to build sustainable, long-term client relationships.

- Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services
- Working knowledge of C&I and commercial real estate lending
- Proven ability to grow loan portfolios and deepen client relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and business development skills
- Minimum of five years of direct commercial lending or credit-related experience
- Formal credit training and/or underwriting experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in relationship-based commercial banking
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, or a related field preferred.
