- Safely operate a commercial box truck along designated local routes, navigating heavy Houston traffic efficiently.
- Perform mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle maintenance inspections.
- Load and unload freight securely, using equipment like lift gates, hand trucks, manual pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Verify delivery manifests, match order items, and secure physical or digital customer signatures upon delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service during face-to-face drop-offs.
- Maintain clean driving logs, delivery receipts, and comply with all state and local traffic laws.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C standard driver’s license issued in Texas (No CDL required).
- Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major recent violations.
- Age: Minimum 21 years of age (for commercial insurance compliance).
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional experience driving a box truck, large delivery van, or similar commercial vehicle.
- Physical Ability: Physically able to lift, push, pull, and maneuver items up to 50–75 lbs frequently throughout the day.
