This role offers the opportunity to work with investment managers, financial institutions, and emerging companies on a wide range of sophisticated regulatory and transactional matters. The practice covers a dynamic mix of regulatory frameworks, including Dodd-Frank, CFTC, and SEC regulations, alongside derivatives transactions involving commodities, interest rate swaps (IRS), foreign exchange (FX), credit derivatives, and futures. The team also engages with cutting-edge areas such as FinTech and crypto trading.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial regulatory and/or derivatives matters
  • Experience with commodities, futures, and derivatives transactions
  • Strong understanding of Dodd-Frank, CFTC, and SEC regulations
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to waive in) preferred
Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
