GUIDELINES & POLICIES
1. There is to be no drinking or doing drugs while on the job assignment or before. If you are suspected of either, you may be tested. Anyone drugging/ drinking will be terminated on the spot with a notation on file reading: NOT ELIGLIBLE FOR REHIRE.
2. TIME CARDS are due Friday for that work week. This is every Friday at the end of the work week. You must make sure that these time cards are either hand delivered to our Main Office or faxed. All time card must be complete before delivery (Name, assignment, position, SS#, dates Manager's signature etc) Fax # (210) 530-9676 Address: 7224 Blanco Rd.

3. PAYDAY All Checks will be MAILED on Friday of your pay date. Checks are not allowed to be picked up at the office on payday. In this case it is your responsibility to inform Reliable Staffing of any address changes. Otherwise we will always mail it to last known address. Reliable Staffing does not take responsibility for Postal delay unless error on our part. There is a $25.00 stop payment fee for a new check cut within two week period. Advances will not be given.
4. Reliable Staffing relies in part on the reliability of our employees. When we are not reliable we do not live up to this reputation. If you cannot commit to an assignment in its entirety, we expect you to inform us before accepting such an assignment. If something comes up while on an assignment, we expect to be informed immediately so we can find a suitable replacement. Deciding to take the day off (not showing up for work assignments for which you have agreed to take) or leaving early without calling the office will be subject to immediate termination. Your time will stop at that point and your final check will be mailed to your last known address.
5. ASSIGNMENT In many cases when you are assigned to a community it is for a specific purpose (Manager, Porter, Leasing Agent, etc). Recently we have noticed that you have been asked to do other duties while on premise. If this should happen, be sure to notify Reliable Staffing immediately. It is your responsibility to make it to your assignments.
6. PUNCTUALITY is your duty. Check in and out with the management at the end of the day. All tools, keys, etc are to be returned to the management at the end of each work day. This rule is a must regardless of wither you are returning the next day or not. If you leave the property with anything that belongs to them you are responsible for 100% of the cost to replace it i.e. reek locks, tools, etc.
7. Do not discuss your pay rate with other employees. This is also reason for immediate dismissal.
8. If you refuse to accept an assignment we reserve the right to remove you from our active list of employees.
9. A 90 Day Probation Period. Reliable Staffing has an employer-employee relationship. If you are assigned to a specific position/property it is the responsibility of the client and yourself to notify us if employment is offered to you within 90 Days of working at said property. Reliable Staffing incurs substantial expenses for recruiting, screening, training testing potential employees and a placement fee will be charged to the client if you are hired by client or any of its associate properties within the 90 day period.
10. Training - Reliable Staffing does not offer any type of training and does not require that all potential applicants have prior experience.
11. Injuries – Reliable Staffing does not offer workers compensation insurance. However if you are injured on the job call the office immediately for instructions.
12. Availability – Please call the office and let us know when you are available and not available for assignments. Call in the morning and the evening. If it is after hours please leave a message at (210) 530-9675 with your name and number where you can be reached at.
13. OVERTIME – All overtime must be approved by Reliable Staffing in advance. If you think you might be working more than 40 hours for the week call the office immediately.
14. LOCATION – Assignment may be located in any part of town. We do not guarantee specific areas. We do our best to accommodate every ones need.
EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION
I understand that if I am employed, any misrepresentation or material omission by me on this application will be sufficient cause for cancellation of this application of immediate discharge from service, whenever it is discovered.
This authorization entitles the bearer (or sender), or any representative therefore, to contact my present and past employer(s) for the purpose of confirming my length of employment, wages and other relevant employment data.
RELEASE OF CLAIMS AGAINST RELIABLE STAFFING
I am either a temporary worker for Reliable Staffing (the companyÂ) or am applying for temporary work assignments with the company. I understand that the Company provides temporary workers for its customer's project site. In accepting any work assignment. I acknowledge that I am a temporary employee of the Company and am not the employee of the Company's customer. If I am ever injured in the course of my work for the Company, I agree that I will look only to the Company's Workers Compensation coverage (not offered in San Antonio location) not the Company's customer for recovery. For myself, and on behalf of my heirs, executor, personal representative and assigns, I waive, release, and forever discharge any claim that I may now have or that accrue against any customer of the Company which directly of indirectly arises out of any injuries which may occur to me while on an assignment for the Company.
CONSENT TO DRUG/ALCOHOL TESTING IN THE EVENT OF WORK-RELATED INJURY OR ILLNESS
I understand that, as part of its regular employment policy, Reliable Staffing requires any employee who suffers a work related injury or illness to be tested for the presence of drugs and /or alcohol. This testing is to be done at the location where initial treatment for the injury/illness is provided, and is to be conducted in accordance with acceptable medical procedures. I understand that is I refuse to submit to testing, it will be considered as refusal to comply with a reasonable request by my employer and will be cause for dismissal. I further agree to hold harmless Reliable Staffing, its principles, agents, and clients for any and all consequences arising from my testing positive or the use/or influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of my injury or illness.
Unfulfilled Assignment Policy
We are excited that you have joined Reliable Staffing Corp. and we look forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship! You are an important part of our team and represent Reliable Staffing Corp. at our client customers. As such, we have expectations of you and want to clearly convey these to you.We put people to work and when we discuss an assignment with you, we will ask you to commit to the stated dates of that assignment. Once placed, if you are unable to fulfill that commitment, we expect you to inform your agent and give reasonable notice. If you fail to communicate with us that you are unable to complete your assignment, or fail to give us reasonable notice if you need to end your assignment, your final check will reflect an hourly pay rate reflective of Federal Minimum Wage for any hours worked that have not yet been paid. Calling us and giving us reasonable notice allows us the opportunity to work with our customer to find a suitable replacement for you. (24 hour notice required) written/verbal. Thank you for your cooperation in helping Reliable Staffing Corp. deliver exceptional service.
This agreement authorizes Reliable Staffing Corp. to deduct from my pay the following fees for any job, which Reliable Staffing Corp. sends me out to that is for temp-to-hire, direct-hire, or temporary purposes. The following initialed fees will be deducted from my 1st weeks pay.
(If required by client company) Pre-Employment Drug Test($35.00)
(Required) Pre-Employment Background Check ($25.00)
(If required by Attorney General) Child Support Processing Fee ($2.33 weekly)
(If required by client company) Credit Check for Financial Institutions Hiring ($35.00)
In consideration of my employment, I agree to conform to the rules and regulations of Reliable Staffing and I understand that Reliable Staffing, or I with or without notice, for any reason, may terminate my employment by Reliable Staffing at any time. I understand that no General Manager, Assistant Manager or any other employee or representative of Reliable Staffing other than the President of the client company has the authority to enter into any agreement for agreement for employment for any specified period of time, or to make any agreement contrary to any of the foregoing.
CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT: Employees and former employees are prohibited from releasing to any other party any information whatsoever about Reliable Staffing which is of a confidential nature or which could be deemed to constitute a “trade secret”. Employees or former employees are further prohibited from using, in any manner whatsoever, information which is confidential, proprietary, or privileged, whether for their personal benefit or gain, or for that of any other person. Any information that has been disclosed publicly in writing should be treated as confidential and proprietary.
I understand that duties, including physical requirements of the position for which I am applying with Reliable Staffing and I certify that I am capable of performing the required tasks with or without reasonable accommodation. If any accommodation necessary, I will describe the proposed accommodation on an attached sheet.
POLICY REGARDING DISPATCH PROCEDURED, EMPLOYMENT AND ARBITRARION
I understand that I am not required to work on any particular day and whether I report into Reliable Staffing is always my choice. Whenever I wish to register my availability to work, I will call the office with my availability. I know that Reliable Staffing is not required to find work for me and is not required to contact me in any way in order to make-work available to me. If I do not report and sign in Reliable Staffing may assume that I am not available for work that day.
If I am asked to return to an assignment, I understand that it is my responsibility to notify Reliable Staffing of the duration of the assignment. If I do not report to the office, it will be assumed that I am not available for work.
I understand that my employment with Reliable Staffing is on day-to-day basis. That is at the end of the workday, I will be deemed to have quit unless and until I request and receive a work assignment.
I agree that any disputed arising out of employment, including and claims of discrimination, harassment or wrongful termination that I believe I have against Reliable Staffing and all other employment related issues (excluding only claims arising under the National Labor Relations Board) will be resolved by arbitration as my sole remedy. The American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules shall conduct this arbitration and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding. I understand that Reliable Staffing agrees to arbitrate in the same manner any claims the company believes it has against me.
Drug Testing I fully understand that Reliable Staffing has strict, policies that ban the use of unauthorized drugs. The ban includes the consumption of alcohol immediately prior to the beginning and during all scheduled work days. NO DRUGS, NO ALCOHOL! I am aware that Reliable Staffing has a random drug testing policy. Drug testing may also be required by some clients and cooperation is required as a condition of employment. In the event of a work-related accident, an immediate drug/alcohol test is required.
Sexual Harassment
I understand that Reliable Staffing has zero tolerance for sexual harassment and work place violence. The penalty for either is immediate termination.
Criminal Background Check
I understand and agree that Reliable Staffing may conduct a criminal background check through the court system. The signature below authorizes Reliable Staffing may conduct a criminal background check through the court system. The signature below authorizes Reliable Staffing to conduct this inquiry.
Agreement to Work for Reliable Staffing
I understand and agree that for 90 days after the last day for which hours are scheduled and worked using the employment services provided by Reliable Staffing. I cannot accept permanent or temporary employment from any client or sister company to that client for whom I have worked. Clients also agree to this provision by signing the official time sheet each week. (Please read and thoroughly understand "Terms" on back of "Official Weekly Time Sheet"). There are NO FEES for providing this employment service. Therefore, employees and clients utilizing Reliable Staffing services must abide by the work agreement specified on the back of "Official Weekly Time Sheets".
Job Safety Compliance
I understand the importance of reporting injuries to Reliable Staffing as soon as they may occur. In the event of an on-the-job injury, I understand that it is my responsibility to report the injury to a representative of the client for whom I am working and then to immediately report the injury to the office of Reliable Staffing. I also understand that it is my responsibility to report unsafe working conditions and/or the lack of proper safety equipment.
